The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Warriors Table

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a colorful mix of heroes, and a exciting storyline featuring angels, demons, and dark forces increasing in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Spoilers for the third episode of this adventure are included.

The Warrior Group Revealed

Episode 3 concluded with a huge suspense moment and revealed the premier party of adventurers who will split off from the primary party to undertake their own adventure, apart from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team consists of Teor Pridesire (brought to life by Travis), the agile character (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (the player), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

Considering a large ensemble, it was clear from the start that maintaining everyone at a single group would be impossible.

That’s why, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Overture, connecting the characters’ stories before branching into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Schemers, and Explorers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

According to the DM, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who prefer a classically intense combat and conflict-driven narrative style where non-violent answers are scarce.

Initially, characters like the squeamish cleric the cleric might seem mismatched, but the developments of the third episode make it clear why these particular heroes are best suited for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the team knows exactly where to proceed after a intense first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose passing started the campaign’s events—exploited the enemy for his own means, invading Thjazi’s hideout, striking the rogue, and stealing all the magical artifacts to sell off.

The traitor then paid off his obligations and escaped to a secure base in the remote area, beyond the city, with Cyd close behind.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each character has a specific drive to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, desires vengeance.
  • Kattigan knows Timmony and cautions that it is a nasty place.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having resisted his family’s wishes to kill Teor and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their status as important members in House Halovar could enable the team access places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character vowed a eternal obligation to Wicander for his rescue and will now accompany him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the powers that control the city for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and The cleric turned against the influential house and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This results in them no alternative but to travel to Timmony in search of Casimir.

Upcoming Developments

According to the recent installment’s post-show segment, we discover that the Soldiers table will not appear next week, leaving the rest of the players to round up the Questers and Planners parties.

Fans can anticipate learning which adventurers will be where in the story’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on October 24.
